• Sunday's game will honor the 1960 NFL Championship Philadelphia Eagles. Alumni will leave the NovaCare Complex in a double-decker bus at noon. The processional will travel through the parking lots ending at Lincoln Financial Field. Throughout the first half of Sunday's game, four 30-second tribute videos will play in the stadium. We will welcome members of the 1960 championship team onto Lincoln Financial Field for a special halftime tribute.
This season marks the 50th Anniversary for the Championship Philadelphia Eagles of 1960. These past 50 years have seen an amazing evolution in the game of football and the Championship victory of 1960 is still a significant source of pride. And while many of the players are no longer with us, their names are legendary from South to North Philadelphia and throughout the region. Don't miss the commemorative celebrations occurring throughout the week leading up to the season opener versus Green Bay on Sunday, September 12.
